Hi,

I have only been clay shooting for just over a year. I am left eye dominant and wear glasses as well.

Two weeks ago after someone else told me about easyhit I purchased the 3mm Sport Shooting bead at Doveridge. They had a magnetic version that I mounted on my gun so that I could see what the impact was when I looked down the barrel. I bought one straightaway. I had seen it in other gun shops, like my local one that morning, but only Doveridge offered me a magnetic one to try on my gun.

Since putting it on my gun I have had loads of people asking me my view of it and had it improved my shooting.

I have shot twice since and my score has increased significantly. The difference is unreal.
Just to say thanks very much, to me it was £30 well spent. I would encourage people to ask to see the magnetic one so they can put it on thier guns to try out as I did.

I recently had an Easy Hit!! bead bought for me as my eye dominance has been changing over the last 10 years. After fitting it I shot the 2006 Universal Trench UK Championships. I shot 87 on the first day (just acclimatising myself with it) but the second day I shot 96 to win the Super Vets Cup and medal. I feel that I am on course to get back to my original form of 10 years ago. I genuinley feel that my scores will increase and feel so confident using the Easy Hit!! bead.

I went to Newnham Park over Easter and shot extremely well. I won the CPSA Vets class and came 2nd overall with a score of 192. I had a lovely time and was well pleased. I talked to several people about the Easy Hit and a number said they would be contacting you.

Thanks again for the sight, I put it on my gun last year and it is doing a fine job as you will see from my results. I won the 2005 Kent Sporting Championship and the 2006 Kent Sport Trap Championship and was in the winning team for the 2005 Fitasc. Getting high gun at registered competitions is very satisfying.
I shoot from the right shoulder and being right eye dominant the bead still gives me that extra confidence knowing my eye dominance won't change if I get tired. An excellent add-on for anyone and a great coaching tool. I don't even know it's there and long crossers need less concentration.

When I first started shooting I found out I had left eye dominance, but I was right handed. I tried shooting off my left shoulder but found it very awkward. To overcome the left eye dominance I masked off my left eye. This had limited success as I was moving my head too much while looking for crossing targets. I saw someone shooting in a competition with an EasyHit!! and I tried it. It really worked, I could see crossing targets much earlier as my vision was not impaired. I also found that targets thrown from a tower or at a longer distance easier as I could now judge distances better. I now use my EasyHit!! all the time.

For many years, I'd had problems hitting crossers, and decided to try the Easy Hit!! bead as frankly, I had nothing to lose. Almost immediately, I realised that I'd been shooting behind the bird, and with the new bead I not only realised where I had been pointing, but was able to pick up the bird and accelerate the barrel through. Dear Sir,

Thank you very much indeed for sending me the Easy Hit Shooting Bead. It was delivered very promptly on Saturday morning after my order on Friday.

I had noticed that my eyes were altering, and that I had a tendency to shoot up the left side, on straight targets.

I went pigeon shooting on Sunday in poor conditions, and fitted the Easy Hit bead to my Beretta with tape to see how it went. The bead was easily apparent, with both eyes open in the low light conditions, and my shooting was right on the button. I was very pleased with my ratio for the day. I shall be fixing that bead on now, and would be most grateful if you would send me two more to fit to my other guns. This seems an excellent product, which allows me to keep my binocular vision, and judge distances, but ensures correct alignment. It always helps if the gun is shooting where I'm looking!!

I will be quite happy to fit these to my game guns as they are really quite unobtrusive.

Hi Graham, I received the beads to day the 05/05/06. Thanks.
When I first received the beads I have to say I was a little doubtful if they would work.

I have a good friend who is left eye dominant. I have been working with him for over a year now, doing all the usual, closing left eye, blocking one lens of his shooting glasses. Progress was a little slow. (I had put this down to a confidence problem)
His average result on a 50-bird shoot was 30 to 32 breaks on a good day. My friend had started to lose interest in clay shooting and had gone back to game shooting.

I told him about Easyhit and he agreed to be the volunteer and in 6 weeks he is now shooting on average 40/42 out of 50. At his last registered 100 bird shoot (The Bray Championship) in Co Wicklow he had a score of 75. He has put this improvement down to his new bead (and a little help from the coach!!!!)

I now have the easyhit bead on my DT10. I do not have an eye dominance problem but I believe it is better to have it on than not. I am now starting to get a lot of interest in the bead from shooters with eye dominance problems. I will keep you updated.

I was on your web page to order our third easy hit sight, and was reading your testimonials.
Riley (9) started shooting in January of this year (2006). He shoots a Franchi over/under 20 gauge.
He was having some problems keeping his head down on the gun, and was leaning out over across the gun trying to use his left eye.
We ordered him one of your easy hit sights. He participated on the Nevada Claybreakers Scholastic Rookie team in June and helped shoot his team to 1st place! He received Most Improved Rookie last week at our annual scholastic awards with an increase of 29.1 birds!!!
Shelby (11) has been shooting since he was 9 and now uses a Perazzi TM1. He is a left handed shooter with a pretty equal eye dominance with the right being slightly more dominant. This was keeping him with a shooting average of 18 He shot on the Rookie team with his brother in June. He was fourth place shooter in July, and ended the year competing against the same kids, with high rookie shooter!!
Anyway, I am ordering a new sight for Riley's new 12 guage that Santa is bringing his way. When I read the testimonials, I just had to share mine.

I have tried every other idea available for clay shooters... flip down blanks, anchutz fogged flip down, 2.5d out of focus... and still end up shooting left eye tight shut!! When I tried my friends gun the Easy Hit!! bead seemed to "come through" after a couple of seconds... initially my left eye was dominant.. then a couple of seconds later the right eye image took over and remained until I dismounted the gun. I certainly hope continued use of the bead will mean the right eye image is instantaneous and the problem is 100% sorted.

Hi Graham, Just an update on the use of my bead. I have only been shooting for just under a year now, and since putting the bead on my new gun, my scores have at least doubled on all stands, I mainly shoot sporting and my scores have gone up to an average of about 50/55%, which believe me is a great improvement.
I have just placed an order for a second bead as my son, Samuel has just purchased a semi auto and was so impressed with my improvement, he wants to improve his scores as well, many thanks again for a great product.

I am new to clay shooting and have now used your bead for 3 weeks so I don’t know if its normal improvement, all in the mind, or the bead.
To be honest I don’t care which it is. I have improved my scores for D.T.L. from 69 % average to 85 % and at the weekend I had a 92 %.
What I can say is that the bead image on my gun is vastly improved. We shoot floodlit during the week and it is excellent in the poor light.
If it is all in the mind a £30 placebo would be well worth the improvement seen.

I have shot with my Easy Hit!! sight a couple of times since fitting it to my Beretta. I shoot off my left shoulder. Unfortunately my right eye is master. I have tried shooting glasses with tape over the right eye, squinting my right eye and holding my right thumb up (blocks out the right eye). All these help, but they are all extra things to do while shooting or/and deprive me of two eye vision. Why bother? Fit your super sight and hey presto not two but only one sight is visible, leaving me to concentrate on breaking the clay and not thinking about my eye dominance problem.

Your Easy Hit!! bead works and like the best inventions is superbly simple. Well done!

I have always shot with my right eye closed to correct my eye dominance problem and I was slightly sceptical about your claims for Easy Hit, but after visiting your stand at The CLA Game Fayre in 2006 decided to give it a try.
It works for me. Close and fast targets are now much easier to pick up with both eyes open and I am much more consistent with quartering targets. I have recently changed my gun and had no hesitation in buying a second Easy Hit bead

Like many other guns I suffer with cross eye dominance being right handed with a dominate left eye and I would like to share with other BASC members how delighted I am to have found an excellent solution.
I have now fitted an Easy Hit!! bead to one of my guns, and on my 3rd visit to the field, a driven pheasant day, my picker up retrieved 15 birds for me making both of us very satisfied with our days shooting.

Fitted one to a club gun on Saturday. From a total of 17 first time shooters, when using the easy hit I did not have a single problem with left eye right shoulder.
With the guns without easy hit some (as always) had to close or block the right eye.
Very impressed.

a few weeks ago I started using one of your Easyhit!! hunting beads on my side by side. What a difference!
Now, because of the results I achieved I have fitted one to my 32" MX2000 that I use for both Fitasc and Sporting. It just seems easier, especially long-range targets.
These beads are the best accessories I have bought for ages. I don't have an eye dominance problem but I am getting better scores.

Dear Sirs,
The EasyHit shotgun sight is excellent.
Although I am right-eye dominant, my left eye would take over on wide and even not-so-wide left targets. I was swinging onto the target and then realising that I was looking down the side of the rib with my left eye. The outcome was a miss, of course.
The EasyHit has solved this problem and I am now using my master eye. OK, so I don't break every wide left target, but my score on these targets has increased a lot. The EasyHit has also given me greater confidence on other targets and is helpful in both low and bright light.

Used your Easyhit sight for the first time today.
Well pleased. I have a problem with eye dominance which particularly affects me with straight on-coming birds/clays.
The ones that everyone else says are the easiest of all!!
This has completely solved this problem for me.
Incoming grouse type clays, high tower clays are now given a completely different sight picture.
No more closing an eye or canting the gun or bruising my face.
See the clay and shoot it.
